The facilities are modern and comfortable and more importantly I have noticed the vast improvement on the quality of the course and the focus the Club is doing to ensure its continued improvement in standard, which to me is the most important thing. My father loved everything about Southern, so over the years my wife and two sons, along with myself have also joined. I have been a Member at Southern Golf Club for nearly a year now, and although I have not been able to play as much as I wanted due to illness and injury, it has certainly been one of my best decisions to join Southern.  I had been a Member at East Malvern Golf Club for over 20 years, and always thought that joining a private Club would not be of benefit to me as I worked full-time (and as an accountant, the numbers didn’t stack up – especially as I often worked weekends!).  However, after a number of East Malvern ladies joined- Trish, Maureen, Wendy, Robyn, Karen and my sister Chris, then all I ever heard about was how great Southern was.  So I decided to join myself and I have not regretted one moment.  The course is magnificent and often challenging to play on – and certainly handles the wetter weather better than East Malvern ever did.  The Members (ladies and men) are most welcoming and friendly, not only to play with, but to enjoy a social drink with after. I hope to resume playing on a more regular basis, and even get to play more during the week and meet a lot more of the lady Members – who currently only know me as a name and Chris’ sister!

Southern Golf Club is a delightful Club, and I have no hesitations in recommending it to others or proudly saying that this is where I am a Member.
